We started beekeeping in 2018 with a swarm we caught in August. We were able to get that hive through winter and quickly grew to 8 hives before the fall of 2019 by catching swarms and cutting bees out of houses. In 2020 we decided to get certified by the department of Agriculture for honey sales and built our Honey House. We also wanted to sell bee’s, so we registered with the state and got inspected to sell bees. We sold our first 8 Nuc’s in 2020. So far we have 8 more for sale in 2021 and are hoping to make a few more before summer!
