The Bees are finishing fall honey for their wintoer stores. When visiting the stand you will smell an off smell, kind of like stinky feet. This is golden rod being brought into the hives. It looks like we got a good Knotweed honey harvest this year!

Bee Hive WILL BE ONE 5 frame NUC. This can have 5 DEEP or 5 Medium frames. Once ordered, this cannot be changed. These NUC boxes are built out of plywood. The NUC will have a minimum of 3 frames drawn out by the bees with Nectar and Brood present. There will be a 2025 mated queen made by the bee’s. She may or may not be marked. There is a $50 non-refundable deposit required, this is used to purchase the wood ware or PRO NUC. For $25 we can upgrade you to a plastic Pro NUC box.
I will do my best to keep you updated as the hives grow close to ready for pickup (typically a heads up 1-2 weeks before they are ready). Once I call you and tell you they are ready to pick up, You will have 30 days to get your bees. If no arrangements are made and there is no communication in this time frame, I will consider your hive abandoned and it will be sold to someone else. NUC’s are typically ready from mid-May-June weather pending. This is because I let them make their own queens from splits from our hives. Bees@wasil.us
Yesterday we had our hives inspected by the state bee inspector. Everything looked great and we got our permit to sell Nuc’s this year! Our splits are all made. Looking into a few yesterday, they have queen cells filled with royal jelly!! The count down is on for them to hatch, mate, and start laying!!!
We are hoping to make our splits in April so NUC’s are ready May-June!
